斎藤宏嗣　Hirotsugu Saito

武蔵工業大学電気通信科卒。電機メーカーのエンジニアとして高周波回路とＶＴＲの開発を担当ののち、オーディオ専門誌に執筆を開始する。エンジニアとしての経験を生かした管球アンプの製作で注目を集める。『季刊・オーディオアクセサリー』誌では、テープオーディオの録再テストをはじめとする各種組み合わせ試聴（スクランブルテスト）の綿密なレポートで活躍。デジタルオーディオには実験段階から深く関わり、現在でも「デジタルオーディオの第一人者」の呼び声が高い。ソフトの録音評でも高い評価を得ており、実際に録音のアドバイザーとして関係した作品はアナログ録音時代から現在に至るまで数多い。スキー、柔道、フライフィッシング、料理、ラジコン、アマチュア無線、フラウトトラベルソやリコーダーの演奏など多くの趣味を持ち、そのどれもが趣味の範疇を超えた腕前を持っているという評判である。

He graduated from the Musashi Institute of Technology with a degree of electrical-communications. He worked for an electrical products company as an engineer and took the charge of the development of VTR and high frequency circuit. Afterwards, he began his career as a critic in audio technical magazines. He profoundly involved in the digital-audio field from experiment stage, and he is now very much talked about as one of the best digital-audio critic. He is well known as a best critic of recording technics. He also has a lot of achievement as a recording adviser between analog audio recording and digital audio recording stage.
