Masamitsu Fukuda

Born in Mitaka City, Tokyo, Japan. After graduating from college with a degree in electrical engineering, he focused on news-related technology and eventually began his career as a critic in 1985. As a critic he was known for espousing no philosophy but pursuing the highest-quality pure audio equipment and real sound. He was influential in the creation of the concept behind Audio Accessory Magazine, focusing on the creation of an accessory-based audio system. Likewise, he was one of the first to recognize the importance of audio cable in audio systems. He takes pride in the fact that his reviews are as consistent as the high quality audio equipment he reviews. His goal is to develop a sense of trust with readers through the application of a rigorous, evidence-based point of view in his reviews.
