神奈川県横浜市出身。東京都立大学理学部卒。在学時は原子物理学を専攻する。出版社勤務を経て、音楽の勉強のためドイツで１年間過ごす。帰国後より、デジタルAVやホームシアター分野の専門誌を中心に執筆。近著に『図解インタ−ネットで変わる音楽産業』(アスキー刊／2000年)がある。大学在学中よりコントラバス演奏を始め、東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団の吉川英幸氏に師事。現在もアマチュアオーケストラに所属し、定期演奏会も開催する。また年に数回、オペラ鑑賞のためドイツ、オーストリアへ渡航。趣味の枠を越えてクラシック音楽の知識も深く、その視点はオーディオ機器の評論にも反映されている。
Born in Yokohama. He graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Unversity with a degree in atomic physics. After he worked for a publishing company, he went over to Genmany and learn Music for 1 year. Since his return from abroad, he began his career as a critic in digital-AV and hometheater magazines. He makes a voyage to Austria and Genmany for watching his loving opera. He has a so profound knowledge over classical music beyond the level of interests, and we can see his respect for the beautiful music and also for all of the artistic creations from his products review. |
